Last week I received Mim's sketchbook in the Artysoulsisters round robin. Her theme is "women", as in strong women, women around the world, etc. There are already several beautiful pages in her book done by herself, Lynn, and Suki, so I had to think a bit about what I wanted to add. After much deliberation I finally ended up with Mother Nature, probably the most important woman of all. And so my contribution is this watercolor of Mother, herself.
I will be sending this off to Caroline, in Mayalsia, later this week.

  8. Katie this is really pretty - I had a good look at it close up too and noticed the leaf prints - lovely! Looking forward to seeing it here. By the way I received Lynn's book - it's so gorgeous and now I haven't a clue what to do! I am still working on yours - not enough hours in the day for me at the moment!

Fun to learn where my book sits now with Caroline wondering what to add...
I'm guessing mine is half done by now then. What an adventure this all is.
